Welcome to a home that is not just a house, but a treasure trove of memories waiting to be made. As my personal home for 20 years, this property has been deeply loved and has loved us in return. The neighborhood, open space and trails welcomed two newlyweds and their dog in 2004. Later, two amazing current high schoolers came home to this sweet place as newborns and have enjoyed a life of foothills exploration, wonderful neighbors and many fond memories with family and friends. Nestled in an ideal location, this property combines convenience with heartfelt ambiance, offering a unique opportunity for those seeking more than just a place to live. Genesee is an oasis of natural delight. I love my early morning quiet with breathtaking sunrises, endless trails to explore when my mind gets too full, Xfinity high speed so I can efficiently work at home and a fantastic floor plan. You may think there are a lot of stairs, but I can tell you, that makes the house live wonderfully. Every space is private while the main gathering areas are open. My husband loves our flat, cul-de-sac street that is unique for the foothills and perfect for skateboarding. We enjoy dinners and drinks on the private deck with views of the surrounding open space and the quick access to I-70 that makes any trip easy. At the risk of sounding strange, I can tell you the walls exude happiness. At this point, you must be asking “why in the world are they leaving?” We had a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a new custom home in downtown Golden.
