Pine Hills dates back to 1951 and is on the eastern edge of Buckhead, southeast of Lenox Square Mall. The neighborhood mostly falls within Fulton County - although a smaller section is within DeKalb County - and it has an active neighborhood association, which maintains a website featuring security tips, neighborhood news and details on The Birdhaven Garden Club. The club has been a part of the neighborhood for 50 years.

Pine Hills is an upscale neighborhood and a private, gated, five-bedroom, six-and-one-half-bath home, recently listed at $1,149,000, sits on nearly ¾ of an acre and has a three-car garage, dormer windows, hardwood floors, Palladian windows, arched doorways, French doors, transoms and a curved staircase in the foyer. There is a wall of windows, built-in shelving and a fireplace in the family room. The gourmet kitchen has an island, double ovens, granite countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a Wolf range and hood, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and overlooks a keeping room. The finished terrace level has a media room, kitchen and a gym.

The Birdhaven Garden Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month from September to May. Members focus on maintaining the beauty and history of Pine Hills. They also go on field trips, do luncheons, listen to presentations and enjoy cooking demonstrations. Another 50-year-old neighborhood fixture is The Roxboro Valley Association Pool and Tennis Club. The club has a newly renovated, 25-meter, heated pool; a kiddie pool; a picnic pavilion; a playground; lighted tennis courts; and shower facilities.

The Fulton County schools serving Pine Hills include Sarah Smith Elementary, Sutton Middle and North Atlanta High and the DeKalb County schools include Woodward Elementary, Sequoyah Middle and Cross Keys High.

The community offers proximity to a variety of workplaces as well as world-class shopping, healthcare facilities and dining.
