Country Club of the South is a very special community in northern Fulton County with a friendly and social atmosphere. Soccer moms blend easily with CEOs, athletes and even some celebrities. The typical home costs $500,000 to $8 million and has approximately 4,000 to 16,000 square feet. The 900-acre community is comprised exclusively of single-family homes, has 733 home sites, backs up to the Chattahoochee River and is gated with two entrances. Good security is a key reason why people of notoriety call Country Club of the South home.

On any day of the year, you will see cyclists, walkers and joggers circling Country Club of the South’s tree-lined streets with custom lights, mailboxes and signs. The community has tennis courts, basketball courts, a clubhouse, a recreation center, a swimming pool and a beautiful park with golf-cart access, where residents often play Frisbee and soccer. Year-round community events include concerts, egg hunts, and a 4th of July celebration with fireworks. There is also an adjacent, private country club.

Around 60 to 70 percent of the country club's members live in the community. The club has a Jack Nicklaus Championship Golf Course and hosts professional golf tournaments and an American Junior Golf Association tournament with children and teenagers from all over the world. Additional club amenities include tennis courts, a swimming pool and a clubhouse, which recently underwent $2.5 million in refurbishments.

The sought-after public schools serving the community are Barnwell Elementary, Autrey Mill Middle, and Johns Creek High School. Just outside the community is a shopping center with a Marlow’s Tavern, Noche and a CVS. Within a mile are some additional restaurants and grocery stores including Publix, Kroger and a Fresh Market. The community is also conveniently located to the new Emory Hospital in Johns Creek and North Fulton Hospital.
