If you've been to Seaside in the Florida Panhandle, you've seen a paradigm for New Urbanism - lots of "green space" for relaxing, and well-cultivated spaces for socializing. Atlanta has become a mecca for New Urbanism developments and Atlantic Station is one of our finest, with upscale housing, hotels and condominiums mixed with world-class dining, varied shopping, a movie theater, cultural events, exhibits and performances in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.

Atlantic Station was built on a brownfield at the former site of the Atlantic Steel Mill and it has a mix of apartment homes, condos, single-family homes and townhouses. There are approximately 2,800 residential units and the amenities vary by development. Many of the apartment and condominium developments have pools, but the single-family homes and townhouses do not.

Its holiday season is a treat. You can have a relaxed dinner before often catching a Cirque du Soleil performance right around the corner, or walk through the development’s very own Central Park, which transforms into a winter wonderland with a 50-foot tree, manmade snow, a miniature train carrying children to and fro, a street-cart vendor selling hot pretzels and visits by Santa Claus. You may also find a holiday movie playing on a big screen with people gathering in lawn chairs to watch.

Atlantic Station features a mix of local boutiques, nationally known retailers, more than a dozen restaurants, 1.4 million square feet of Class A office space and approximately 11 acres of parks. Throughout the year, it hosts nearly 200 different events ranging from charity walks and runs to outdoor concerts and yoga in the park.

Children attend Centennial Elementary School, Inman Middle School, The Intown Academy and Grady High School. Several private schools are within a short drive as well.

The community is near both Piedmont Hospital and Grady Hospital.
