Marilee Talman is an associate real estate broker who joined Heather Croner Real Estate Sotheby's International Realty in 2006, servicing clients throughout the mid-Hudson Valley. Marilee began her real estate career in New Jersey in 2000. Today she is focused on showing her clients all that the mid-Hudson Valley region has to offer, whether its natural beauty, recreational activities, farm-to-table opportunities, communities of artists, musicians and filmmakers, outlining conservation efforts or focusing on the various lifestyles of the Hudson River and its important history. Marilee is adept at making a personal connection with her clients, helping her to know how to best serve their needs and creatively realize their objectives. Her goal for both buyers and sellers is creating an environment where each will proceed to their closing with complete confidence. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Marilee earned her bachelor's degree at Goucher College in Baltimore and her master's degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Prior to her real estate career, she served as vice president, general manager and marketing director of a New York trade book publisher and later founded a national distribution company for independent publishers in the United States and Great Britain. Marilee has been responsible for the marketing and positioning campaigns for thousands of titles including several bestsellers, a skill she uses in her real estate career today.
