The Chancellor’s Sheep & Wool Showcase, Germantown

The Chancellor’s Sheep & Wool Showcase is a family-friendly festival that celebrates historic fiber arts, culture, and craft. The festival includes a shopping concourse featuring over 30 skilled artisans and local craftspeople, craft guilds demonstrating spinning and weaving, live music and sheep herding and shearing.
Audubon Bird Walk at Steepletop, Austerlitz
May 12 | 7:30am – 9:30am | Millay Society at Steepletop
Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Edna St. Vincent Millay inspired many people with her nature poetry. To honor her legacy, Larry Federman from the Audubon Society will conduct a bird walk at Steepletop. The annual event is to inspire visitors to learn more about birds, and help to protect the wildlife and habitat that surrounds.
Millbrook Literary Festival, Millbrook

The 10thannual Millbrook Literary Festival features a collection of authors, poets and illustrators for adults, teens and children. Some notable guests include Michael Korda, Poet Gold and Jennifer Donnelly.

Craft Market Walk, Gardiner

Craft Market Walk is a community event inspired by the artisan, farmers and craftsmanship in and around Gardiner. The one-mile stretch features handmade jewelry, vintage furniture, all-natural skincare, herbal remedies, farmhouse pottery, up-cycled clothing, small batch spirits, craft beer, local wine and all-day music, raffles and activities all along the way.
