Explore the Hudson Valley’s Growing Craft Beverage Scene

drink-pexels-photo-132737

As the modern farming movement took shape in the Hudson Valley so did the craft beverage scene. Local microbreweries, distilleries and other craft beverage makers utilize locally sourced ingredients to create craft beer, ciders, whisky, bourbon, vodka and gin—all with a modern twist and signature rural style.

These small, independent craftsmen practice traditional brewing and distilling techniques that harken back to the origins of beverage making. Exemplifying the definition of an artisan, they concoct mouthwatering libations such as maple cask rye whisky and chocolate oatmeal stout. Each visit will be sure to delight as the beverage lists change in accordance with the season.

Here are some of our favorite craft breweries and distilleries to sample.
